What a beautiful journey I went on with Remi, this game is so special, it easily can be in my favorites 20 games ever. The story is beyond phenomenal, it’s about a guy who returns to a war torn country to search for his parents, but he is swept up in this mind bending world where creatures appear on top of the civil war raging on, there’s a mechanic where you research items in different subjects and when you complete a set in a subject it unlocks an “Article”, those articles are one of the best written lore dumps in any game I have ever played, I found myself being excited to read about Hadea and The Order of the Eye, or the Conspiracy around their president. With a gameplay that keeps you engaged and searching for clues about the story and where to go next, the brilliant level design in each level and how each passageway is connected in a way, the only complaint (which isn’t huge to me) is that the enemies aren’t varied enough which they solving with future update coming out in October and that’s gonna be a joy for anyone who’s gonna play it in the future. The music is another area where I have nothing but praises for, it elevates the mystery of the world through the synths it uses and giving you goosebumps while playing. I recommend this game for experienced gamers who is bored with waypoints and need something new, and for casual gamers it could be a way to try something new and interesting that you may love, I found myself while playing comparing it to Control in vibes but there’s nothing like it in gameplay and the fun you have when you connect the dots and solve a puzzle, can’t wait for more in this amazing world.
